Kailash Parbat | Udaipur, founded in Bombay in 1952, has grown into a beloved culinary destination not only in India but worldwide. With its widespread popularity across all age groups, it has become a leading name in the restaurant industry, known for satisfying cravings with a diverse menu that includes flavors from North and South India, Chinese cuisine, and more. This review reflects our visit to the Kailash Parbat Udaipur.
For a start we decided to start with our regular preferences to check out the taste.
North Indian:
Kashmiri Pakoda – The best choice and a must-try.
Pao Bhaji – Cooked well with balanced flavors.
Chole Bhature – The bhature stayed soft and didn’t turn chewy, even though it took us time to finish everything.
Butter Paneer – Creamy and satisfying.
Dal Fry – Simple, flavorful, and comforting.
Laccha Paratha/Tandoori Roti – Complemented the mains well.
Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream – A basic yet satisfying dessert to wrap up the meal.
After being satisfied with our previous order we decided to check out some of their south indian menu too.
South Indian:
Pao Bhaji Dosa – The flavor of pao bhaji perfectly merged with the dosa.
Cheese Chilli Dosa – A spicy and cheesy delight.
Garden Dosa – Notable for its use of turnip (शलजम) with other veggies.
Pizza Dosa – Exactly what the name suggests, a fun fusion.
The Sambar was particularly enjoyable, with a sweet and spicy balance and a consistency that North Indians would appreciate—not too thick or thin. I lost count of how many bowls I had!
